Methodology

Why recording negative results matters

It is tempting to record only what worked. Logging what failed prevents repeating dead ends.

Dead addresses

If an address no longer responds, record the date and result. Future readers will know it was already checked.

Unconfirmed claims

Claims that could not be verified should be logged with the reason, such as 'no source with review date found'.

Patterns in failures

Repeated failures from the same source reveal its reliability better than its successes.

Avoiding bias

Recording only confirmations makes Omega Market sources look more reliable than they are.
